Description

The panel safe room has been tested and certified by the German test institute VdS in accordance with the European standard NEN-EN 1143-1 / CEN I to XI (KB). Vault rooms are often made with specially reinforced concrete during new construction. In existing buildings and situations where this is not possible, a panel safe room can offer a solution. The modular panel safe room offers the following advantages over a concrete cast safe room:

  • A concrete cast vault room (CEN VIII) has a wall thickness of 400 mm while a panel vault room (CEN VIII) has a wall thickness of only 100 mm.
  • A concrete cast vault room (CEN XI) has a wall thickness of 600 mm while a panel vault room (CEN XI) has a wall thickness of only 230 mm.
  • The paneled vault room is relatively light, which makes it possible to place it in an existing building.
  • Thanks to the modular system, the panels safe room can be dismantled and reassembled elsewhere.

It is possible to combine a cast-in safe room with a paneled safe room. For example, a poured floor in combination with the roof and the sides of the panels of the vault room. Van den Hoven supplies and assembles the panels on site according to the prescribed guidelines. Safe rooms are always custom made. Be informed in advance by one of our security staff. They can recommend the right safe for every situation.
