How can I order a safe?
You can order a safe via the online webshop. You can of course also contact our sales department (sales@vdhsafes.nl or 0180-612 988).

How can I pay for my online order?
Van den Hoven offers you the option to pay via: iDEAL, by bank transfer, PIN or cash.

Do the prices include VAT?
All prices quoted include VAT.

Is it possible to reserve a safe?
It is not possible to reserve products via the website, please contact our sales department.

Where can I find Van den Hoven's contact details?

What are the opening hours of your showroom?
The showroom is open Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 16.30pm and on Fridays from 8.30am to 16.00pm.

My order does not meet my expectations. What should I do?
If you have any comments or complaints, you can here a form to fill in. We will then contact you as soon as possible. Of course you can also call us on 0180-612988.

What are the options for having the safe delivered?
When placing your order in the webshop, you can indicate whether you want the safe to be delivered by the Van den Hoven technicians, whether you want the safe to be delivered on a pallet by a carrier or whether you want to pick up the safe in our warehouse in Barendrecht. .

Do you also deliver abroad?
Yes that is possible. Contact the sales department for the possibilities.

Is the product delivered discreetly?
Yes, all our products are neutrally packed. Your order will be delivered with a neutral truck and (if possible) personally handed over to you. It is possible that our name NA van den Hoven & Zonen BV appears on service vehicles, company clothing or products.

Can the safe be anchored?
Almost any safe can be anchored, provided there are anchor holes in the bottom and/or back of the safe. For more information, please refer to our page about anchoring safes.

With what materials is the safe anchored?
Segment anchors are supplied as standard; at an additional cost you can purchase heavy duty anchors or chemical anchors.
When delivered by Van den Hoven (except for delivery on a pallet by the carrier), it is possible to have the safe anchored by our fitters at an additional cost.

Can the safe be placed on the first floor or in the basement?
Depending on the type of safe, this is possible, please contact our sales department (sales@vdhsafes.nl or 0180-612988).

Does Van den Hoven also move safes?
Yes, we can move your safe within the Netherlands. For information please contact our sales department, or visit our page about moving safes.

Is it possible to reserve a safe?
It is not possible to reserve products via the website, please contact our sales department.

How many years of warranty is there on a product?
All purchases come with a 2 year warranty, both new and used. (Read more about our guarantee).

How many keys are included with the purchase of a safe?
When purchasing a safe, 2 keys are supplied as standard.

Can I have another key made after losing a key?
Yes, that's possible. An original key is required for this. Van den Hoven Brandkasten has a own locksmith shop† with this you can make an appointment to make a new key.

Can I choose or change the code of an electronic combination lock myself?
Yes. Upon delivery, the electronic combination lock is supplied with a standard factory code. You can easily change the code yourself using the supplied manual.

Can I have (one-off) maintenance on my safe?
Yes, you can contact our sales department (service@vdhsafes.nl or 0180-612988).

Do you have your own technical service to resolve any malfunctions?
We have a technical service that can be reached from 8.30 am to 16.30 pm on telephone number 0180-612988, or by email service@vdhsafes.nl† You can reach the service department on 16.30-21.00 7.00 20.00 from Monday to Friday from 06 pm to 30 pm and on Saturday from 442 am to 002 pm.

Can you help us if the safe is locked and there are no keys and/or code available (emergency opening)?
Yes, we can assist you with this. Please contact our service department or visit our page about emergency openings.

What does “coverage indication” mean?
Insurers link an amount of cash value to the various resistance classes as an indication of the cover. This is based on the storage of cash in a burglar-resistant safe which is located in uninhabited, unguarded and unsecured buildings within built-up areas. Depending on the security measures taken, insurers may deviate from the cover indication. Many insurers only provide an indication of cover or indication of value storage. How can I be sure whether the purchased safe is also accepted by my insurance?
Van den Hoven is an independent manufacturer of safes and safe doors and all our safes and safe doors are accepted by insurers. For additional information, please refer to our page about standards and coverage indications.
