Mail being snatched from letterboxes is becoming an increasing problem. Mail, cheques and keys are increasingly being angled out of letterboxes. To solve this problem, Van den Hoven has developed a letterbox with an anti-angling system.
Mail being snatched from letterboxes is becoming an increasing problem. Mail, cheques and keys are increasingly being angled out of letterboxes. To solve this problem, Van den Hoven has developed a letterbox with an anti-angling system.
Especially for banks, a VDH Combination Letterbox is available that incorporates not only a letterbox, but also a separate payment order box.
The payment orders are deposited separately via a small slot and cannot be angled out due to the anti-angling teeth fitted.
Mail and payment orders are collected separately in separate collection bins.
The letterbox is suitable for recessed at the facade creating a sleek design on the facade.
The modern exterior appearance of the letterbox is made of high-quality stainless steel (AISI 316) and is resistant to all weather conditions.
The letterbox emptying is on the inside of the facade. But it is also possible to empty the letterbox from the outside.
The letterbox (or Combination Letterbox) is then fitted with a door on the gable side with a good burglar-proof lock.
This has the advantage of not having to enter a secure area to collect the mail. The payment order slot is equipped with an anti-angling system and gives optimal protection against angling.
The letterbox is fitted with an anti-fireworks lock so that the flap can be temporarily locked.
If required, the letterboxes can be integrated into a stainless steel panel with other dispensers such as cash-in-transit hatches, sealbag dispensers, etc.
