Description

Wherever there are high requirements for fire and burglary resistance, the BSD door from Brandkastenfabriek van den Hoven is the solution. Thanks to a well thought-out construction and the use of the right materials, the BSD door is the optimum protection against fire and burglary. The fire- and burglary-resistant safe door model BSD has been tested in accordance with EN 1634-1 and NEN 6069 at the Peutz Laboratory for Fire Safety and has a fire-resistance of 90 minutes. The door in combination with the 3-sided locking mechanism offers sufficient protection against burglary.

Implementation:
The BSD door is supplied as standard with a daylight size of 2300 × 900mm (h×w). The size of the door can be adjusted in both height and width. The BSD door is 100mm thick and is supplied in a grey, rust-resistant primer.

Confirmation:
The BSD door is installed in a concrete or sand-lime brick wall with a minimum thickness of 100mm. The door is welded to a metal profile anchored to the wall. The metal profile can be ordered as an option from Van den Hoven.

Bottom sill:
As standard, the BSD door is supplied with a high lower sill. This sill is 48mm high. After installation, a floor of up to 30mm can be poured. It is also possible to fit the BSD door with a low sill. This must then be placed on the finished floor.

Final work:
BSD doors are fitted with a key lock including 2 keys. An emergency unlocking system is optionally available. The door is not self-closing.

Optional door closer:
If you want to make sure that the BSD door closes in case of fire, the F-T50 free-swing door closer is a good solution. This door closer ensures that in the event of a fire alarm (via a fire alarm control unit or via a smoke detector), the door will automatically close if it is open. This happens because the magnet is de-energised and the arm pushes the door shut. Ask our sales advisors about this option.

Direction of rotation:
BSD doors are available both right- and left-handed.
