Description

Where there are high requirements for fire and burglary resistance, the DFB door from Brandkastenfabriek van den Hoven is the solution. Thanks to a well thought-out construction and with the application of the right materials, the DFB door is the optimum protection against fire and burglary. The fire- and burglary-resistant safe door model DFB has been tested according to EN 1634-1 and NEN 6069 in the Peutz Laboratory for Fire Safety and has a fire-resistance of 120 minutes. The door in combination with the 3-sided locking mechanism offers sufficient protection against burglary.

Implementation:
The DFB door is supplied as standard with a daylight size of 2300 × 900mm (h×w). The size of the door can be adjusted in both height and width. The DFB door is 140mm thick and is supplied in a grey, rust-resistant primer.

Confirmation:
The DFB door is installed in a concrete or sand-lime brick wall with a minimum thickness of 200mm. The door is welded to a metal profile anchored to the wall. The metal profile can be ordered as an option from Van den Hoven.

Bottom sill:
As standard, the DFB door is supplied with a high lower sill. This sill is 70mm high. After installation, a floor of maximum 40mm can be poured. It is also possible to have the DFB door with a low sill. This should then be placed on the finished floor.

Final work:
DFB doors are fitted with a key lock including 2 keys. An emergency unlocking system is optionally available. The door is not self-closing.

Direction of rotation:
DFB doors are available both right- and left-handed.
