Description

The panels vault chamber is tested and certified at the German testing institute VdS in accordance with European standards NEN-EN 1143-1 / CEN I to XI (KB). Vault chambers are often made with special reinforced concrete during new construction. In existing buildings and situations where this is not possible, a panel vault chamber can offer a solution. The modular panel vault chamber offers the following advantages over a concrete-poured vault chamber:

  • A concrete poured vault chamber (CEN VIII) has a wall thickness of 400 mm while a paneled vault chamber (CEN VIII) has a wall thickness of only 100 mm.
  • A concrete poured vault chamber (CEN XI) has a wall thickness of 600 mm while a paneled vault chamber (CEN XI) has a wall thickness of only 230 mm.
  • The panels vault room is relatively light, making it possible to place it in an existing building.
  • Thanks to the modular system, the panels vault chamber can be dismantled and rebuilt elsewhere.

It is possible to combine a poured vault chamber with a panels vault chamber. For example, a poured floor combined with the roof and sides of the panel vault chamber. Van den Hoven delivers and assembles the panels vault chamber on site according to the prescribed guidelines. Vault rooms are always made to measure.
